IOC Başkanı Dr. Thomas Bach ise
yaptığı konuşmada, Dünya Okçu-
luk Mükemmeliyet Merkezi’nin
açılışının dünya okçuluğu için
gurur verici bir an olduğunu,
tesisin okçuluk sporunun gelişi-
mine büyük katkılar sunacağını
söyledi.
Bach’ın ardından söz alan
Erdener tesisin sporcuların
gelişimine ve okçuluk sporuna
yapacağı katkıları vurgulayarak
“Dünya Okçuluk Mükemmeliyet
Merkezi’nin açılması ile bir haya-
limiz gerçeğe dönüştü. Bu tesis
dünya okçuluğunun gelişme-
sinde önemli bir rol oynayacak.
Şu an Olimpiyat şampiyonu
sporcuların içinde yarıştığını
gördüğümüz bu tesisten gele-
ceğin şampiyonlarının da fayda-
lanacağını umuyoruz. Başta IOC
Başkanı, yerel yetkililer ve dünya
okçuluk ailesi olmak üzere bu
projeye katkıda bulunan herkese
teşekkür ederim” dedi.

Thomas Bach tekrar görüşme
fırsatı buldular. Dünya Okçuluk
Mükemmeliyet Merkezi’ni ve
gündemi değerlendiren Sayın
Kılıç daha önce Kasım ayında da
Bach ile bir araya gelmişti. Önce-
ki görüşmelerinde IOC Başkanı
Bach ile 2016 Rio Olimpiyatları’nı

cess from our athletes in the
near future. I hope this Centre
will contribute a lot to the future
of archery.”
IOC President Dr Thomas Bach
back remarked that the opening
of the new facility was a proud
moment for World Archery as
the Centre will contribute to
the development of the archery
sport.
World Archery President Prof
Dr Uğur Erdener said: “Opening
this Centre is a dream come
true. It will become key to World
Archery’s development efforts
around the globe and, while we
have now seen Olympic gold
medallists compete between its
walls, we hope for many more
current and future champions
to make use of this dedicated
space. I would like to thank all
who have contributed to and
supported this project, espe-
cially the IOC President, local
authorities and the entire World
Archery Family.”

Thomas Bach had the chance
to exchange views for a second
time after Minister Kılıç’s previ-
ous visit to Bach in Lausanne in
November where he also visited
the Olympic Museum.
