TMOK’un eğitim faaliyetleri kap-
samında yürüttüğü spor kültü-
rü ve Olimpik eğitim programı ço-
cuklarımızın ruhsal ve eğitsel ge-
lişimine büyük katkılar sağlıyor.
Adeta bir bal arısı gibi çiçekleri-
miz olan çocuklarımızı, ülkemizin
her yerinde bularak onlara sev-
gi, saygı, fair play kültürü ve anla-
yışı yükleyerek arı gibi çalışmaya
devam ediyor. Daha önce Nazilli
Cumhuriyet Başsavcısı iken yü-
rütmüş olduğum 12-18 yaş arası
çocuklara yönelik ulusal ve ulus-
lararası ödüllü ‘SPORLA YAŞA’
projemize destek vermek ama-
cı ile Nazilli’ye gelerek Nazilli’deki
tüm İlköğretim çağındaki çocuk-
larımıza fair play ve spor kültürü-
nü çocuklarımıza aşılayan Oli’yi
tanıma fırsatı buldum. TMOK’un
ülke genelinde yürütmüş olduğu
bu faaliyetini büyük bir heyecan ve
hevesle takip etme fırsatı buldum.
Görev yapmış olduğum Çankırı ili-
ne de gelerek yaklaşık 1500-2000
çocuğumuza Oli etkinliği ile ula-
şarak fair play kültürü ve spor ah-
lakı konularında görsel ve eğit-
sel programlar ile çocuklarımı-
zın dünyasına girdiklerini gördüm.
Belki çocuklarımıza bu eğitim faa-
liyeti kapsamında kola, cips ve çi-
kolata dağıtmadılar ama onların
hayal dünyalarına girerek, başarı-
lı bir sporcu, ahlaklı bir sporcu na-
sıl olunur, dahası kaliteli, toplu-
ma ve vatanına faydalı iyi bir insan
nasıl olunuru anlattılar. Atatürk’ün
‘Ben sporcunun zeki, çevik ve aynı
zamanda ahlaklısını severim’ sö-
zünün, sözde değil özde uygulayı-
cısı olduklarını göstermeleri an-
lamında bu projeyi önemsiyorum.
Hayat bahçemizdeki çiçeklerimiz
olan çocuklarımızı kopartmadan
eğitim ile sulayarak büyütelim. O
çiçeklerin meyvesini acı da olsa
tatlı da olsa toplum olarak birlikte
yediğimizi unutmayalım.
Yaşadığımız dünyayı bir gün ema-
net edeceğimiz kişilerin, çocukla-
rımız olduğunu unutmayalım ve
onları hep fark edelim, asla ih-
mal etmeyelim. Çocuklarımızın iş-
ledikleri her bir suça toplum ola-
rak iştirak ettiğimizi ne olur unut-
mayalım… Geleceğimizin köprüsü
olan çocuklarımızdan lütfen sev-
giyi esirgemeyelim...
Sports Culture and Olympic
Education programme, carried
out within the educational activi-
ties of the TOC, contributes great-
ly to the spiritual and education-
al development of our children.
Just like a honey bee; the pro-
gramme reaches out to children,
who are our flowers, and contin-
ues to pollinate them with love,
respect, understanding and Fair
Play culture. I previously had
the chance to meet ‘Oli’ when I
was the Chief Public Prosecutor
in Nazilli. They had kindly come
to Nazilli to support our nation-
ally and internationally-award-
ed project
“LIVE WITH SPORT”
, ori-
ented towards young people be-
tween the ages of 12 to 18. I had
witnessed then, how they insem-
inated our primary school chil-
dren with sports culture and Fair
Play. I had the opportunity to fol-
low, with excitement and enthu-
siasm, these activities conduct-
ed by the TOC across the country.
When I started to serve in Çankırı,
I also realized that ‘Oli’ had been
in Çankırı and already entered the
worlds of some 1500-2000 chil-
dren with sporting ethics and
Fair Play culture through the vis-
ual and educational programs.
Maybe they did not offer any coke,
chips and chocolate; but they did
enter their imaginary worlds and
taught them how to be a suc-
cessful and a moral athlete, and
moreover, how to be a good per-
son beneficial to the communi-
ty and the country. I attach great
importance to this Project be-
cause, TOC does not pay lip-ser-
vice to, but actually implement on
Atatürk’s words:
“I like the intelli-
gent, agile, and at the same time,
virtuous athletes.”
We must raise
our children educating them well.
We must never neglect them.
Let’s not forget that we, as the
community, have a share in eve-
ry crime our children commit and
that only to our children we shall
be entrusting the world we live in.
Never spare love for the children,
our bridge to future.
