about TOC’s Sports Culture and Olympic Education Project?

Koordinatörlüğü olarak, Türkiye
Milli Olimpiyat Komitesi ile dü-
zenlemiş olduğumuz ‘Olimpik
Gün’ ve ‘Oli’ projeleri, Eyüplü ço-
cuklarımıza Olimpiyat felse-
fesini aşılamayı amaçlamış-
tır. Düzenlenen birçok aktivite ile
çocuklarımızda algılama, bece-
ri, koordinasyon ve liderlik özel-
likleri gözle görülür seviyede ar-
tırım kazanmıştır. Verilen eğitim
gelecekte Olimpiyat’ın yeni spor-
cu ve yeni seyirci kazanması açı-
sından da çok önemlidir. Bu pro-
jeye ev sahipliği yapmaktan bü-
yük keyif aldık.
As the Sports Coordination
Department of the Municipality,
the ‘Olympic Day’ and ‘Oli’ projects
we have held with the Turkish
Olympic Committee, have been
aimed to instil the Olympic philos-
ophy to children living in Eyüp dis-
trict. Thanks to the many activities
organized within the context of the
projects; perception, co-ordina-
tion, ability and leadership quali-
ties of the children have noticeably
improved. Such education is also
very important in terms of raising
new Olympic athletes and spec-
tators. We take great pleasure in
hosting these projects.

TMOK temsilcilerini 4. ve 5. sı-
nıf öğrencilerine yönelik ‘Spor
Kültürü ve Olimpik Eğitim Projesi’
sunumlarını gerçekleştirmek
üzere birinci dönem okulumuz-
da misafir etmiştik. Aynı çalış-
manın devamı olarak Olimpik
Gün etkinliğimizi 10 Haziran 2015
Çarşamba günü 3, 4 ve 5. sınıf
öğrencilerimiz ile gerçekleştir-
dik. Öğrencilerimiz spor kültürü-
nün öneminin, Olimpiyat Oyunları
ve felsefesinin, Fair Play kavra-
mının, spor kültürü ile ilgili bilgi-
lerin pekiştirildiği bol hareketli bir
gün geçirdiler.

a continuation of the work, we
hosted the TOC team to make
their presentations to our 3
rd
, 4
th
and 5
th
grade students within the
context of our Olympic Day activ-
ities in June 10
th
. Children spent
a very vibrant day, substantiating
their knowledge on the impor-
tance of sports culture, Olympic
Games and Olympic philosophy
and Fair Play.
