amsung Electronics Türkiye Başkanı Yoonie Joung,
Olimpik ruhun geçmişten günümüze yolculuğunda
ve Türkiye’nin uluslararası platformda temsil edilmesinde
TMOK’un liderliğinin çok önemli olduğuna inanıyor. TMOK’un
Türkiye’de ‘Olimpik Hareket’in öncüsü sıfatıyla ilham ve-
recek projelere imza attığını dile getiren Joung,
Samsung’un da dahil olabildiği her etkinlikte
bu projeleri sonuna kadar desteklediğini ifa-
de ediyor.
1 Temmuz 2013 tarihinden bu yana Samsung
Electronics Türkiye Başkanı olarak görev
yapan Yoonie Joung’la yoğun iş trafiği-
nin arasında röportaj yapma fırsatı bulduk.
Genel olarak Samsung, Olimpiyatlar ve
TMOK’u konu alan söyleşimizde, Samsung
Electronics Türkiye Başkanı’nın verdiği ilginç
mesajlar vardı. Samsung olarak, sporun yanı
sıra eğitimi de son derece önemsediklerini özel-
likle vurgulayan Joung, eğitimin Samsung’un
kurumsal sosyal sorumluluk anlayışının odak
noktasını teşkil ettiğini belirtti ve faaliyet gös-
terdikleri ülkelerin gelişimine artı değer ka-
zandırma sorumluluğundan hareketle özel-
likle genç nesillerin eğitimine yatırım yap-
maya odaklandıklarının altını çizdi.

believes in the importance of TOC’s leadership in the
representation of Turkey in the international arena and the
journey of the Olympic spirit from past to present and states
that TOC is implementing inspirational projects as the
leader of the ‘Olympic Movement’ in Turkey and
Samsung Electronics fully supports these
projects and events so far as possible.
We have had the chance to take his time
in his busy schedule and interviewed
Mr. Yoonie Joung, President of Samsung
Electronics Turkey since 1 July 2013.
President Joung gave some very in-
teresting messages during our inter-
view where Olympics and TOC were the
main subject areas. Laying specific em-
phasis on Samsung’s high regard of ed-
ucation as well as sports, Joung indicat-
ed that education constitutes the focus of
Samsung’s corporate social responsibility and,
moving on from their responsibility to provide
added value to the development of the coun-
tries in which they operate, that they invest-
ed particularly in the education of the young-
er generation.
