Yoonie Joung ise, sporun evren-
selliğinin insanları birleştiren bir
unsur olduğunu kaydederek, şun-
ları söyledi:
“Samsung olarak; sınırları ve kı-
taları aşan, farklı kültürlerden in-
sanları birleştiren, insanları barışa
ve hoşgörüye teşvik eden güçlü bir
araç olarak sporun çok önemli bir
misyona, birleştirici ve motive edi-
ci bir güce sahip olduğuna inanı-
yoruz. Bu anlayışla, Olimpiyatların
da resmi sponsoru olan Samsung
olarak tam 11 yıldır TMOK’a des-
tek vermekteyiz. TMOK ile birlik-
te Asya ile Avrupa’yı buluşturarak
sınırların kalktığı bir simge haline
gelen Boğaziçi’nde binlerce spor-
cunun kulaç attığı benzersiz bir ya-
rışa ev sahipliği yapmaktan dola-
yı gururluyuz. Geçtiğimiz yıldan beri
‘Samsung Boğaziçi Kıtalararası
Yüzme Yarışı’ olarak anılan etkinlik,
bizim için ayrı bir prestij ve gurur

This event that came to be known

“Samsung Bosphorus Cross-
Continental Swimming Race is a
huge source of pride and prestige
for Samsung. The Race makes a
strong contribution to the promo-
tion of Turkey, and Samsung’s goal
is to bring even more awareness to
the event through the power of its
brand. We prepared a striking pro-
motional video, fictionalized with a
scenario in harmony with the spir-
it of the event. The film received ex-
tremely positive comments in the
social media globally. This inter-
est once again manifests the unify-
ing power of sports and Samsung’s
mighty contribution to the promo-
tion of Turkey.”
