Madalyasız geçilen üçüncü günün
ardından dördüncü gün kürekte iki
tek dümencisiz ekibimiz Olimpiyat
üçüncülüğüne ulaştı. Erkekler re-
pesaj mücadelesinde finalde ya-
rışma hakkını elde eden Gökhan
Güven ve Can Eren Aslan’dan olu-
şan ekibimiz, finalde 3:12.21 ile
bronz madalyaya uzandı.
Beşinci günde taekwondo +73
kiloda tatamiye çıkan Talha
Bayram ülkemize bir bronz ma-
dalya daha getirdi. Bayram,
çeyrek finalde Mısırlı Youssef
Khallaf’ı 5-4 yenen sporcumuz
yarı finalde Ukrayna’dan Denys
Voronovsky’e 10-4 yenilince
bronz madalya aldı.
Oyunların altıncı gününde madal-
ya kazanamasak da, atletizm er-
kekler cirit atmada Emin Öncel’in
77.55 metre ile yıldızlar Türkiye
rekorunu kırması ve ikinci en iyi
dereceyi yaparak ‘A’ finaline çık-
ması, yedinci günde modern pen-
tatlon mücadelesinde milli spor-
cumuz İlke Özyüksel’in 24 yarış-
macı arasında Olimpiyat beşincisi
olması önemli sonuçlardı.
Following the third day of the
event where there were no med-
als for Turkey, on the fourth day,
the Turkish team reached for the
bronze medal in Men’s pair row-
ing. Turkish team, comprising
of Gökhan Güven and Can Eren
Aslan, won the bronze medal with
their time of 3:12.21 in the finals.
On the fifth day, Talha Bayram,
+ 73 kg, brought another bronze
medal to Turkey in taekwon-
do. Bayram won 5-4 against
his Egyptian opponent Youssef
Khallaf in the quarterfinals and
won the bronze medal as he
lost 10-4 to Ukrainian Denys
Voronovsky in the semi-finals.
There were no medals for Turkey
on the sixth day of the Games.
However, Emin Öncel’s 77.55 me-
tres throw in Men’s javelin to
make it to the A Finals, his per-
sonal best and juniors’ record in
Turkey, and on the seventh day,

24 competitors were impor-
tant results.
