TMOK Başkanı Prof.Dr. Uğur Erdener üst düzey uluslararası spor teşkilatlarında önemli görevler üstlenmeyi
sürdürüyor. 2005 yılından bu yana Dünya Okçuluk Federasyonu’nun (WA) başkanlığını yürüten Prof. Erdener, IOC
üyeliği ve Dünya Dopingle Mücadele Ajansı (WADA) Yönetim Kurulu ve Vakıf Yönetim Kurulu üyeliğinin ardından,
Şubat ayında Sochi’de IOC Yönetim Kurulu’na seçildi. Erdener daha sonra IOC Başkanı Thomas Bach tarafından
IOC Sağlık Komisyonu Başkanlığı’na getirildi. Erdener Nisan ayı başında Belek’te düzenlenen SportAccord
kongresinde de Yaz Olimpiyatları Uluslararası Federasyonlar Birliği (ASOIF) Yönetim Kurulu’na seçildi.
Prof.Dr. Uğur Erdener, President of Turkish Olympic Committee, continues to assume important offices at the top-
level international sports organizations. Prof.Dr. Erdener, President of World Archery (WA) since 2005, International
Olympic Committee (IOC) member, Foundation Board and Executive Committee member of the World Anti-
Doping Agency (WADA), has been elected to the Executive Board of the IOC last February at the 126
th
Session in
Sochi. Later he was appointed by IOC President Thomas Bach as the Chair of the IOC Medical Commission. During
the SportAccord Convention held early April in Belek, Erdener was elected to the Association of Summer Olympic
International Federations’ (ASOIF) Council.
