diye konuştu.
Olimpik spor dalları başta olmak
üzere tüm spor dallarında spor-
cuların göstereceği başarıların
ülke insanı olarak göğüslerini ka-
bartacağını dile getiren Erdener
sözlerini şöyle sürdürdü:
“Gençlik ve Spor Bakanlığımızın,
Spor Genel Müdürlüğümüzün,
Milli Olimpiyat Komitesi’nin bu ba-
şarılarda katkıları çok büyük. Ben
Türkiye’nin genç potansiyele sa-
hip olduğunu ve yakın zaman-
da iyi bir organizasyonla genç-
lerimizin çok başarılı yerlere ge-
leceğini düşünüyorum. Bizdeki

Olimpiyat Oyunları bir hedef ola-
cak. Tüm federasyonlarımız

Reflecting that the fight against
doping had started a little late in
the country and that they would
never tolerate doping and totally
wipe it out at the end of their la-
bours and endeavours, Erdener
said “
Turkey now is one of the
most effective countries conduct-
ing anti-doping efforts and pro-
grammes. We had a little late and
somehow a problematic start.
But now I can gladly say that we

Dopingle ilgili mücadeleye geç
başlanıldığını ifade eden Erdener,
yaptıkları çalışmaların ardından
spora asla dopingin giremeyece-
ğini ve dopinge tolerans göster-
meyeceklerini belirterek,
“Türkiye
şu anda dopingle mücadele ko-
nusunda en etkin çalışmaları ya-
pan ülkelerden birisi. Geç başla-
dık. Biraz sorunlu başladık ama
şunu memnuniyetle ifade et-
meliyim ki çok iyi ve etkin çalı-
şan bir anti-doping komisyonu-
muz var. Bu komisyon Gençlik ve
Spor Bakanlığımız ile yakın iş bir-
liği içerisinde görevini yapıyor.
Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi çatı-
sı altında İnceleme Komisyonu da
kuruldu. Tüm bunlar birleştiğinde
Türkiye’nin etkin, ayağı yere ba-
san sağlıklı bir anti-doping politi-
kasının oluştuğunu, bundan sonra

Commission is doing its job very
well, in close cooperation with
the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
A Parliamentary Investigation
Committee on Doping has been
established under the roof of
the Grand National Assembly of
Turkey. With all these, today we
can safely say that Turkey has
built up an operative, effective,
sound and healthy anti-doping
policy and that doping will nev-
er soil our sports and no tolerance
whatsoever will ever be shown
.”
Expressing that all achieve-
ments by the national ath-
letes in all sports but especial-
ly those in Olympic sports make
one feel proud as a member of
the community, Erdener contin-
ued: “
