dalya alabilmek. Eksiklerimizi
görüp, hem hocalarımıza hem
sporcularımıza gereğini söy-
leyip, bize düşen görevleri de
yapacağız. El birliği ile hep be-
raber Rio’da altın mücadelesi
vereceğiz.”
Reaction against the
referees by Yerlikaya
President of the Turkish Wrestling
Federation Hamza Yerlikaya dis-
played his reaction against
the referees in a declaration
he made after the European
Wrestling Championships. He
said: “
We aimed to raise the cres-
cent-star flag to the top at the
Championships and our lionheart-
ed wrestlers put up a good strug-
gle for that. However, the refer-
ees made some serious mistakes.
The arbitral committee later apol-
ogised and said that they were
sorry. So they have made mis-
takes... Is there any compensation?
At the end of the day, it is a medal
stolen. Despite everything, the re-
sults are satisfactory. We crowned
our success with two gold med-
als. The breakout of our wrestlers
at the Championships is evident.
Actually this was a rehearsal for
the Olympic Games where we aim
for the gold medal. We shall do
what falls upon us, see and learn
from our mistakes and tell the
wrestlers and coaches accordingly.
Hand in hand we shall struggle for
gold in Rio

Büyükler Avrupa Güreş
Şampiyonası’nın ardından yaptı-
ğı açıklamada, hakemlere tepki
gösterdi. Herkesin hedefinin ortak
olduğunu dile getiren Yerlikaya,
“Bayrağımızı en üst seviyeye taşı-
yabilmek ay-yıldızı en üst noktada
tutabilmek hedefindeydik. Bu nok-
tada aslan yürekli sporcularımız da
mücadeleyi verdiler. Ama maalesef
bazı maçlarda hakemler hata yap-
tılar. Hakem heyeti yanıma geldi ve
özür dilediler”
diye konuştu.
Yerlikaya, sözlerini şöy-
le sürdürdü:
