Uzun bir aradan sonra yeniden hayata geçirilen ve Haliç Yarı Maratonu iken Vodafone İstanbul Yarı Maratonu
adıyla tarihi yarımadada yapılan koşuda, erkeklerde Etiyopyalı Fetene Alemu Regasa, kadınlarda ise Türk
sporcu Bahar Doğan birinci oldu. Eyüp ile Yenikapı arasındaki 21,1 kilometrelik parkurda koşulan yarı
maraton ile 10 kilometre yarışına yerli ve yabancı yaklaşık beş bin atlet katıldı.
Fetene Alemu Regasa from Ethiopia finished at the top in men’s and Bahar Doğan from Turkey in women’s
at the 2014 Vodafone İstanbul Half Marathon. Formerly known as the Golden Horn (Haliç) Half Marathon and
has been revived after a long spell as the Vodafone İstanbul Half Marathon, the race is run in the Historical
Peninsula of İstanbul over a 21,1 km. course between Eyüp and Yenikapı. Close to 5.000 athletes participated
at the Vodafone İstanbul Half Marathon and 10 km. race.
