TEB-BNP Paribas sponsorluğunda gerçekleştirilen WTA Championship 2013, İstanbul’da
üçüncü ve son kez düzenlendi. Kadınlar tenisinin en prestijli sezon sonu turnuvası tenis
severlere dünyanın en iyi sekiz kadın raketini izleme fırsatı sunarken, tek kadınlarda Serena
Williams geçen yıl olduğu gibi mutlu sona ulaşarak turnuvaya bir kez daha damga vurdu.
Çiftlerde ise kupa Asyalı Peng Shuai-Hsieh Su Wei ikilisine gitti.
WTA Championship 2013 under the sponsorship of TEB-BNP Paribas was organized in
Istanbul for the third and last time. As this most prestigious end-season tournament of
women’s tennis gave the tennis lovers the opportunity to spectate the best 8 women players
of the world, in singles Serena Williams, like last year, reached the happy end and marked
the tournament once again. In doubles the trophy went to Asian pair Peng Shuai and Hsieh
Su Wei.
